Silver Jewellery Making Weekend Retreat Package
Retreat to St Andrews for the weekend and binge on silver jewellery classes! With plenty of free time to take in local delights such as our beaches, galleries, golf courses, unique shops, delis and restaurants all in our beautifully historic town.
2025 date:
Evening Friday 27 June, 7-9.30pm > Set of skinny stacking rings
Sat 17th, 10.30am-1.30pm > Pendant vs earring day workshop
and Sun 29 June, 10.30am - 3pm > Bangles class
Together these classes would usually cost £250, with the retreat package it is just £215 including silver.
Learn how to saw, solder, form and texture your own set of silver skinny stacking rings from scratch.
In this workshop, you will design and create your own simple earrings or small pendant from a piece of silver, before connecting it to silver hook or stud fastenings, or to a chain. One for the indecisive! You can decide on the day.
In this workshop you will use the techniques that you have learned such as sawing, soldering, forming and texturing to create a set of 3 silver bangles held with a ring, before polishing these up ready to wear home.

Basic sterling silver allowance to cover the lessons is included, and if wanting more for the pendant/earring workshop you can purchase extra on the day.
Please note that the package includes the jewellery workshops and materials only. You must provide your own travel, accommodation and meals.

Please note, that this class will need 5 people to run. If the class is under-subscribed, the studio reserves the right to reschedule. You will be notified at least 4 days before the class if the class cannot run, and will have the option to be refunded in this instance.
Private parties:
At the moment, if you have a group of 4hh+ people we can offer you a private workshop at no extra cost per person on a date that suits you, where available. Email hello@eastnook.com to discuss the private options
East Nook Studio is an inviting space with a friendly atmosphere and plenty of room to stretch out. There are bars and a cafe downstairs for those who wish to make an evening of it!
Based in the West Port of St Andrews, East Nook Studio can be found in the Maltbarn at 205b South Street.
